IKCO's director of Asia, Europe, the United States and the CIS countries said in this respect, "In just a few months from the launch of Khazar joint venture car making company in Azerbaijan, there are plans for dispatching cars to the countries of the region, including Russia, Ukraine and in general the CIS countries."

Referring to the relative improvement of the economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nobari said that the market for economy and medium-priced cars in the country experience a proper boom and added, "Considering the importance of the above market, in order to transfer technology and to provide better and faster services in "After-sales service" and "Car assistance", necessary measures have been taken.

Nobari also noted that the company produces 6,000 cars per year for now and is capable of boosting the production to 50,000 sets per year in three working shifts.

The plant was launched this March in the presence of the Presidents of both countries.
